deXes is a Utrecht-based startup working on infrastructure for the responsible sharing of data between organisations. If you want to do meaningful work at the intersection of technology, policy and society — we'd love to meet you.
deXes is a Dutch tech company focused on the responsible and efficient sharing of data between public and private parties. We develop and operate infrastructure for data spaces: a modern approach that lets organisations share data without physically transferring it. The data stays at the source — only access is managed, on the data owner's terms.
We serve public sector organisations, research institutions and commercial parties that collaborate within ecosystems and chain organisations. Our live data spaces include the DMI ecosystem — initiated by the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management — and AMdEX, the Amsterdam Data Exchange, a collaborative initiative with AMS-IX, SURF, UvA and the Amsterdam Economic Board.
We are a close-knit, ambitious team based at de Blend in Utrecht. We value initiative, curiosity and a genuine interest in the societal impact of data technology.
Work on infrastructure that shapes how the Netherlands and Europe share data.
Ample room for personal development in a fast-moving, innovative environment.
Flexible hours and the option to work from home. Utrecht office at de Blend.

The DMI ecosystem (Dutch Metropolitan Innovations) is a data space initiated by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management. Across themes such as mobility, urban renewal, and logistics, DMI helps municipalities and other public-private organisations share data more quickly and securely.
